Chilli Garlic Tofu Noodles

A flavor‑packed Chilli garlic tofu noodles recipe for your Chinese cravings. Presenting the fabulous chilli garlic noodles with the goodness of tofu from Soyuz.


  • 400 gm Soyuz tofu
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 250 gm noodles, boiled
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 mushroom, sliced
  • 1/2 cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium carrot, diced



Step 1. Drain the excess moisture from the tofu for around half an hour. Cut the tofu into cubes and place them in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and cornstarch. Mix all well and drain the remaining liquid. Set cubes aside.


Step 2. In another bowl add soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp oil, chilli sauce, vinegar, and curry powder. Stir all together and set aside.


Step 3. Add cubes in the sauce mix and season with cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Mix until tofu are coated with the sauce. Set the sauce mix and tofu cubes aside.


Step 4. On a skillet over medium heat, add 1.5 tbsp cooking oil and spread it across the skillet. Add the coated tofu cubes and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Set aside after cooking.


Step 5. After removing tofu, clean the skillet and add the remaining cooking oil along with ginger, garlic, bell peppers, mushroom, cabbage, and carrot. Saute until they begin to soften.


Step 6. Add the noodles, sauce mix, and tofu cubes to the skillet. Stir and toss the content until everything combines.


Step 7. Serve in a bowl and garnish it with ginger julienned or sesame seeds.
